Trainee Guide Numbering and Sheets
Introduction:
Learning Object (LO) Module is built around the concept of Reuse, Repurpose and Referencing of training content. While many believe that R3 is a myth (the author shares many of those concerns) as part of the E2E process R3 can be achieve to prevent redundant JDTA's, reuse or repurpose CPM Project constructs for other courses and in many cases the foundational training can be reused, repurposed or reference with a pretty high-level of ease. CPM Projects acts as a screening tool for the development and export of training. So since LO Module is designed to support that concept describe above, LO Module can dynamically associate numbers for Lesson Plans and Trainee Guides depending on were it is in a module, lesson or section. In one school a lesson could be inside module 1, lesson 1, section 3, sheet 1. In a different course, this training maybe "linked" to module 3, lesson 2, section 6, but it will still be sheet 1. Any change to this section in the same instance of AIM LO Module will update the training in all related training programs / courses. When dealing with AIM LO Module in other Learning Centers using a stand-alone application, the CPM Projects export can be identical but the material can be tailored for reuse or repurposing.

Trainee Guide Numbering and Sheets
Sheets are numbered depending on what level they are printed from. When referencing them or refer to them in a Lesson Plan you should only use the last number.
Printing a TG at the Course level, the sheets will be numbered some like this 1-5-2-6.
The first digit (1) is the Module number in the Course
The second digit (5) is the Lesson number inside that Module
The third digit (2) is the Section number inside that Lesson
The fourth digit (6) is the Sheet number inside that Section
Printing this same TG at the Module level, the sheet will be numbered like 5-2-6.
Printing this same TG at the Lesson level, the sheet will be numbered like 2-6.
Printing this same TG at the Section level, the sheet will be numbered like this 6. This is the number you should use for Related Instructor Activities (RIA)
Assignment - Used to ask the student questions they have to solve
Diagram - Used to provide a picture not normally available in other reference material
Information - Used to provide additional information not normally available in other reference material
Job - Used to provide additional information/questions to support the Student performing a job task/steps in a Lab or a simulated environment. Should not be used to duplicate any reference material available.
Outline - Used to tell the Student what is being taught at the Section level. Objective and DPs.
Problem - Similar to a job/assignment sheet, it is used to present an issue that the Student must solve.
To get the enabling learning objective for each section to appear in the TG, we recommend an outline sheet (or an assignment sheet) be created as sheet 1 in each Section. An outline sheet can also provide a list of instructor discussion points that will be covered during that Section (but must be copy / paste to get DP's in the outline sheet). Section Outline should also include a list of the reference material required by the student to support this Section. This list of references would just be added to the word document (as part of the section outline).
